At Teeth Retain Design, we are a dental and orthodontic laboratory, not a licensed provider of dental medicine. We do not examine your mouth or diagnose any conditions. By using our service, you acknowledge that:

  • A licensed doctor or dentist has not physically examined your oral cavity through our platform.

  • You should have your mouth examined by a licensed dentist or physician at least once per year.

  • A licensed dental provider may review your case via appliance inspection, photos, or video, but this does not replace in-person dental care.

By using our service, you agree that:

  • You need a dental appliance urgently and could not reasonably wait for an in-person dental visit.

  • Our service was the fastest and most convenient option available for your situation.

  • Not using our service could lead to more harm or discomfort (e.g., sleep apnea, eating difficulties, social challenges).

  • Repairs to existing devices

🚫 Who Should Not Use Snore Guards or Sleep Shields

Please do not use these devices if you:

  • Have central sleep apnea

  • Are under 18

  • Have a history of TMD (temporomandibular disorder)

  • Suffer from respiratory issues

  • Have loose teeth, abscesses, or advanced gum disease

  • Wear dentures or braces

  • Have dental implants, crowns, or bridges (unless cleared by a dentist)

  • Lack 2 molars on both upper and lower arches

⏳ Delivery Timeline

  • Standard delivery: 12–15 business days after receiving your impressions

  • Rush delivery (add $45): Available except during summer months

🧪 Ordering & Impression Kits

  • New Impression Kit: $19.95

  • Discounted for Existing Customers: $14.95

  • Kits are not reusable once shipped (for hygiene reasons)

📦 Shipping Notes:

  • Confirmation and return shipping label will be emailed after ordering.

  • Remake kits do not include free return labels—shipping is at customer’s expense.

  • Allow 2–5 days for shipping, plus 12–15 business days for lab work after impressions are received.

📉 Impression Issues

A bad impression can result in a poor-fitting appliance. Causes include:

  • Moving during impression

  • Pressing the putty more than once

  • Failing to capture all teeth

We’ll send a replacement kit if this occurs. Cost: $14.95 + shipping.

🔁 Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our products:

  • No refunds or returns once an appliance is made

  • You may request one free remake if your device doesn’t fit
    Conditions:

    • Must return original device within 15 days

    • Device must show no signs of wear or damage

🔧 Adjustments & Warranty

  • FREE adjustments within 30 days (includes breaks, cracks, or missing denture teeth)

  • Not covered: Loss, neglect, abuse, discoloration, or normal wear

🧱 Mold Breakage

If your mold breaks during processing, we’ll send a free replacement mold 3D print. 

🦷 Retainer & Appliance Fit

The final fit depends entirely on the accuracy of your impression.
If the impression fails to capture key areas (e.g., back teeth), the device will reflect that.
